
Violin and Viola
Jacob Shirvanyan graduated from the College of Music in the former USSR, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Music, with honors, before continuing his studies at the Komitas Conservatory, where he earned his Masters Degree in Violin.
Shortly after receiving his Degree, Mr. Shirvanyan joined the National Chamber Orchestra of soloists, performing chamber music concerts in the USSR, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Cuba, France, and Italy.
He has also played and performed extensively with the National Symphony Orchestra of Radio and Television.
In 1990, he moved to the United States where he continues teaching violin to a diverse student population.
