The Tchaikovsky School of Music is a premier Music School and Conservatory located in Walnut, California, committed to classical music mastery and appreciation through providing refined musical education to our students and engendering greater cultural understanding within our community and the world at large.
We provide quality, yet affordable, one-on-one, individual private lessons with a full spectrum of musical instruments.
Our curriculum includes lessons and exercises geared towards preparing the body and mind to practice and perform with ease, with focus on understanding the effects of posture on flexibility and expressiveness, utilizing arms and hands more efficiently, employing listening techniques to improve coordination, and increasing the range of color and dynamics while using less effort, as well as cultivating rhythmic vitality, and learning to perform with confidence, warmth and freedom.
From the novice to the advanced student, each individual is given freedom and space to best develop his or her latent talents, while simultaneously building a solid musical and technical foundation through close supervision and guidance.

The Tchaikovsky School of Music Violin Shop
We are also pleased to offer the finest string instruments and bows from from Europe, particularly Germany, France, and Italy, available to musicians of all levels of mastery. For centuries, master craftsmen from these locales have been producing string instruments of superior design and quality which we now offer to our discerning clientele at our Violin Shop located inside the music school. The shop also provides rentals and sales of rare and contemporary string instruments and bows. We also offer string instrument repair and restoration services by an award-winning group of craftsmen and experts. |
