Gary Arutunyan earned his Master's Degree from University of Southern California in classical guitar performance. Mr. Arutunyan has studied with Brian Head, Bill Kanengiser and Scott Tennant, and has also participated in master classes with Pepe Romero, Assad brothers, and Dushan Bogdanovic. Mr. Arutunyan performs in a wide variety of musical styles – from Baroque to Romantic and from Latin American to jazz.

Mr. Arutunyan is a successful teacher: one of his students has won top prizes in several guitar competitions, including the American String Teacher Association Competition in California in 2003.
