Marina Mnatsakanyan holds a Bachelor's Degree in piano pedagogy from the Musical Pedagogical College in the former USSR , and Master's Degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the Komitas Conservatory of Music. Shortly after Ms. Mnatsakanyan joined the faculty of the prestigious Khachaturian Music School where she remained for 20 years; many of her students went on to become professional musicians.

Ms. Mnatsakanyan has continued her successful teaching career in the United States , where she has taught for 10 years.
