Stephen Zarikyan is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky School of Music, a special school for talented students in the former USSR . He earned his Bachelor's Degree in violin performance and education at the Komitas Conservatory of Music.

After graduation Mr. Zarikyan became a member of the National Symphony Orchestra and, later, of the National Chamber Orchestra. He has performed in chamber music concerts in the USSR , England and France . Since moving to the United States Mr. Zarikyan continued his education at California State University , Los Angeles , earning his Master's Degree, and became a member of several orchestras in the Los Angeles County .
