Sarkis Salamanyan is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky School of Music, a special school for talented music students in the former USSR . Mr. Salamanyan later graduated from Komitas Conservatory with a Master's degree in Violin Performance. Shortly after receiving his degree he joined the National Chamber Orchestra of soloists under the world-renowned conductors Khachaturyan, Gergiev, and Spivakov. He has performed in chamber music concerts in the former USSR , Spain , Germany , Bulgaria and Hungary .
In 1993 Mr. Salamanyan came to the United States where he performed with the Lark Quartet and also embarked on a successful career as a violin teacher.
