Dr. Joseph Ketendjian is a graduate of the Tchaikovsky School of Music, a special school for talented music students in the former USSR

After coming to the United States in 1975 Dr. Ketendjian was awarded a full scholarship to attend the Julliard School in New York where he studied with Lillian Fuches, Felix Galimir, and Dorothy Delay. He performed as a soloist and chamber player in New York , Boston , New Jersey , South America , China and Germany . Currently Dr. Ketendjian is a permanent member of the Pacific Symphony. Dr. Ketendjian is a very successful violin teacher and serves as a professor of violin at the California State University of Los Angeles.
